Thinking of banking my train fare and riding over to then bivvy on way back.

Would pub garden space be ok for bike/kit so I wouldn't have to unpack stuff & leave it out in the street? Seems cyclesheffield have meetings there (google find) so presume it would be bike friendly?

Obviously it comes with the caveat that you park at you own risk but I would suggest that it should be OK. Some street drinkers do cut through the back to make use of the toilets but I've not seen them causing any trouble.

I'd make sure all of the usual electronics and really valuable stuff is taken inside with you. Where do you figure for bivvying?

Bivvying? Very novel! I'd offer you a space to doss at ours but obviously we're heading back to Leeds. Such dedication!

Back garden should be fine for locking up, but I'd probably take any luggage off.

rhb - I can meet you at the station and let you into the secure cycle hub to lock up of you like. It's 24 hour CCTV with fob access so better than locking up on the street/beer garden and only 5 minutes walk from the Rutland Arms. PM me if that works for you and let me know your eta at the station, I'm meeting someone there anyway so i'll likely leave my wheels there too.
