asymmetrical stem spacer (on a Specialized Tarmac)
...anyone on here with experience, or a handy link maybe?
mate asked me to cut down the steerer tube and slam his stem but this is making things awkward.

Needs the asymmetrical stem too! I had the opposite problem - stem but no asymetrical spacer. I have one 110 mm long that if you/he needs one?
Basically the stems are 1 1/4 " bore, and then shimmed to 1 1/8", but the shim is lopsided so you get a choice of +16/+8/-8/-16 all from one stem

are the screw holes on Duegi shoes compatible with mounting Look cleats:
If not, is it possible to modify them?

ah. cheers! it has the correct stem to go (that came) with it, and the top cap is asymmetrical too upon closer inspection. so that should even out things at the top again.

Cheers. I'll have read up.

Look like you can fit normal cleat on it judging by the single hole on the front of the cleat.

actually I knew a guy about your height, and he was done for burning calories in his back garden without a permit from the council. you should delete any info that could identify you.

One more thing I forget to mention; the 105 have a steel lockring, whether Ultegra have an alu lockring.
This is especially important, as if you hamfisted your lockring tight onto the freehubs, using a steel lockring on an alu freehubs body can actually strip it if you're putting too much torque to tighten it.

Ah, so that's what a Turkish haircut looks like. :)
