  • Glad to be cycling in jeans and shirt again.

Hello sun, blue sky and pints after work

  • Want to up my mileage game, so will be well up for some Wednesday/Thursday action, just have a big job on between now and middle of may, so not sure how much time I'll have to hit the black top.
Will take it on a ride by ride basis. But I'm looking to do at least five this year, and maybe the deluxe if I'm in the country..

  • Had to ride home for a 2pm doctors appointment and back again shortly after. Could hardly have been a better day for it at this time of year.

Bonus commute in the sunshine, 10/10.

  • Lovely morning to be out. Snapped a brake cable, luckily on the flat near my LBS, so I had a nice chat with one of the guys there while I installed a new one.

    8/10

  • Is that the a4 bike path? It's bad. The a312 is near on unusable never see anyone on it, with good reason but its a shame. Some good segregation in West London but poorly maintained.

  • nah, it's a cut through hanworth park, on the edge of the industrial estate where my office is situated. Mostly used by dog walkers and joggers, but you see the empty bottles of juvenile drinkers, and it's not nice trying to dodge the shards..

  • I know of it but never been inside the park. The airman junction is pretty hairy never feel quite safe round those parts. Socially feltham has improved immeasurably since the old Highfield towers came down.

  • Last night. A woman. Feeding her dog... by letting it french kiss packet ham out of her mouth. While driving round New Cross gyratory.

  • I've seen a woman doing that in New Cross before! Then again, I've also seen somebody hungrily wolf down a tray of Sheba outside an off license in New Cross.

  • The joys of a newly-built rear wheel and chain (once all the clicking and creaking has stopped).

  • Fast traffic free commute from SE1 to SE10. Forgot pants. Commando/10.

  • @Stonehedge so plenty of skids then?

  • There wasn't much traffic coming in from north either

  • verbally abusive, xenophobic shitstain lorry driver is in for a fucker of a morning.

  • Please.................I'm eating my porridge FFS

  • I had too many clothes on. Had to take half of them off near the Emirates.

10/10 because this means it's Spring.

  • ... What did you do to his lorry?

  • Top half or bottom half?

  • Rude cunt cyclists, topped off by some prick blasting through the crossing I was crossing (on foot) just outside work.

  • Rear wheel popped a spoke on the way in so it's slightly out of true and rubs on the chain stays twice every revolution. If I get the speed just right it plays Batches and Cookies

  • Commuted in in a fucking snowstorm.
    It's March! ffs!

  • Someone has put a shower schedule on the shower door at our office 'Tim, will use the shower between 0745- 0815' I believe this is the same person who knocks on the shower door every 2 minutes to see how long you are going to be.

Also 30 minutes in a public shower...don't use my own for that long. Lets see how long Tim has to wait tomorrow.

  • Half hour? Cheeky sod. I spend about 5 minutes in my work one and apologise profusely to anyone waiting outside when I leave. Tim sounds like a total cheesedick.

  • That's perfect - just make sure you arrive at 07:44.
