What cranks are they?
-
• #106734
They're cool. I need some for my donohue, where did you find them and were the pricey?
-
• #106735
I found them second hand on the french Gumtree equivalent. They cost me €110 but they are in very good shape.
The other designs of these cranks aren't all amazing. I was looking for hollowed/CNCed spiders, and they weren't much option, except some FSA carbon cranksets. -

Oooh, that's fucking awesome! Are you doing it yourself? What if the wire (or solder) cracks and needs replacing...? As in how the hell did you feed it through those tiny holes in the first place?
-
• #106741
Thanks! It's being done by a local builder. No idea how he managed to feed the wire but we talked about it beforehand and he mentioned the importance of not making the holes too small :) I ripped off the connections on my SP dynamo last year when touring so I´m hoping this will be a bit more idiot safe.
I'm also adding 10mm of rake since I usually pack stuff on the front and a disc mount since I have grown to truly hate cantilever brakes. Really looking forward to it being done!

Best silver 1/8th chain for winter riding?
Wippermann 1Z1, although the fact that you even bothered to mention the colour suggests that you might not love the particular shade of silver. KMC Z1X Inox is OK if you can tolerate bushingless chain on your fixie biek

Also finished a 1975 Plume Sport today. Full pre- CPSC campagnolo nuovo record group and all original, except new cables and bar tape. Rims have been replaced on the original '75 hubs back in the day.
