@Stonehedge I'd still take wired over wireless I think, especially as one thing I'll be using is a Steam Link to stream the pic from gaming PC upstairs to TV downstairs. Latency on wireless still seems to suffer from spikes. Router is decent if not enterprise - Netgear R7000 Nighthawk (AC1900).
I'm also getting pissed off with patchy Windows 10 drivers so hanker for the simplicity that plugging in a cable gets.
