SMO2 during a run round the park was ~85% on Sunday.
SMO2 level during sitting on the sofa watching TV a few seconds ago (me) 62%.
SMO2 level during 300 watt interval a couple of hours ago, 62%.
SMO2 level for the Mrs whilst sitting on the sofa (same sensor to see whether it was stuck on 62% or not) 74%.

What are you talking about? No watts, no chat.
-
• #6504
So sitting on the sofa is getting you as fit as doing efforts.
Might as well just sit on the sofa!/fiddlingthestats

Yes, that's what i took from the data.

Please let this be true (and affordable).
-
• #6507
Affordable? You're funny.
They did file patents for meters years ago..

Yeah I know but the next gen of DA is imminent given its been 3+ years and since its Shimano it could be affordable .. trickle down .. like thatcher
-
• #6509
Given Shimano volumes they could put power measurement in all their chainsets for about £50
-
• #6510
I think i have a spare set.
-
• #6511
Could but why would they? Bidnez iz bidnez
Actually if they hurry maybe I don't need to look for a new chainset..

• #6512
Could but why would they? Bidnez iz bidnez
I'm not even sure they could, but whatever price it is on DA it will be half that on Ultegra 2 years later, and it will be the revenue maximising price, not the volume maximising price.

That's what I said. "Bidnez iz bidnez"
-
• #6514
That's what I said.
I was agreeing with you :-)

"$529 for Ultegra 6800 and $649 for Dura-Ace 9000, both including the non-drive crank arm."
"Their dual leg system also drops, coming in at $1,300 (Ultegra, down from $1,550) and $1,500 (Dura-Ace, down from $1,850), which includes the entire crankset."
"for just $579, you can send in your existing 11-speed Dura-Ace or Ultegra crankset and they’ll add single-leg power to the DRIVE side."
I look forward to seeing the bullshit UK price equivalent.

• #6517
Do you even Europe?
-
• #6518
Where would you need to send your cranks to for adding drive side power, the US? £400 seems like an amazing deal
-
• #6520
Do you even understand the comment?
Usually US price decreases translate to 4/7ths of fuck all over here as the distributors scrape the cream.
-
• #6521
Yes but Germany!
Stages in the UK £550, Germany £478, USA $600 so a closer $ value can be attained by shopping in Europe (outside UK).

whats the point?

Just an adaptor plate innit? Dammit had one for sale I think? Not sure how the Quarq likes negative watts though.
-
• #6525
The dude says q-factor on Elsa equals Omniums.
Quarqs will fit BBright frames. Bit of a mashup having SRAM cranks and Campag otherstuff, but it'll work and it's cheaper than the P2M Campag cranks.
