I'm off the wagon big style. Four nights on the trot sinking booze and eating shite.
Today I shall refocus. -

You can't be on it all the time, or you'll turn into a boring cunt.

If being boring for a few months makes me faster I'm fine with that.

A month of exercising more and eating the same has resulted in NO FUCKING WEIGHTLOSS
Am enjoying exercising more, and really don't want to go back to dieting.
This week I have increased my assumed FTP for interval training so hoping this will increase the calorie expenditure whilst exercising.

Cheers, will have a look at some of the drink suggestions. Although with work trips to Barcelona and the US plus a holiday in the next three weeks I think the healthiness may start in March.

If anyone can find out how I can OpenAthens this, I'd be grateful.
But essentially- 2.4g of Protein/ kg/ day seems to bolster weight loss in men, who are active, and are undergoing an significant calorie deficit.Seems like old news, hey?

I read something similar on a site that gave no sources and seemed a bit shifty yesterday.

I'm not sure how helpful this is for everyone and I don't mean it to be "hey guys, why can't you just do this?".
I recently tried to cut out wheat, because psoriasis yeah?, the added benefit of this is that (as long as I avoid buying tasty tasty Nairn's oatcakes) I reduced the amount of rubbish I'm eating at work. It's also helped me avoid the trick of "oh i'll just have a bowl of cereal/sandwich" when I come home from work.
The added advantage is that because I've said I'm "wheat free" at work, I avoid the biscuits. BECAUSE OF THE SHAME OF BEING CAUGHT WITH ONE IN MY MOUTH.It has meant trying to find wheat free beer (possible), giving up pasta (not such a problem), saying goodbye to pizza (sobs), and giving up on toast (weeps).
This is all pretty manipulative. So as well as replacing wheat with rice cakes (sob) I've got a pressure of not being able to eat cakes in the office.
This sort of touches on the Aeon article up there ^.

A brief search of articles suggests you need concurrency of psoriasis and anti-gliadin antibodies, co-existent in c. 20% of psoriasis cases.
In other words- why? Purely out of interest. -

Its a single sign on that allows institutional access to quite a few.
Mostly interested in the Methods section. -

It is old news but it's another study that helps confirm slightly different previous studies.

giving up pasta (not such a problem)
I'm been eating brown rice pasta recently and while the window between undercooked and overcooked is tiny and it's definitely not as good as yer normal pasta it's passable as a substitute if you've no other options. may take a couple of goes to get it just right (was very rubbery first time i made it)
i've been having this one...

after struggling to stick to my daily calorie goals/macros for more than a couple of days at a time since the binge at christmas I'm thinking I may have to go hardcore mode and eat completely clean for a month starting tomorrow in order to shed some weight before my marathon.
of course that means I should have pizza tonight just to draw a line under things right?

Because, while the chances of me being affected by being wheat free are VERY low, the use of it as a crutch to avoid cake and biscuits and over drinking is a very beneficial side effect.

Oh you're going to be one of those people..
"I'm allergic to chocolate"
"I'm allergic to wheat"
"I'm allergic to salad"In the sea >

• #10348
No. I'm not one of those people.
I'm fully aware the chances of my skin erupting into massive patches of scaly skin is unlikely to be linked to the consumption of food high in gluten. I am fully aware that I'm a lazy human and having something to say "you can't do this, because of that" is a good way of avoiding food that's not great for me.How do you motivate yourself to stay sat in one position for 24 hours while it hurts?
And I'm not talking sexy times. -
• #10349
Though I have popped a boner now.
