I would question why you need garmin connect , do you mean garmin express?
Use the manual upload option on the garmin connect website. Much less prone to software issues.

Anyone having issues with Windows 10 and Garmin Connect? I saw the post by @hippy a while back but I can't even get the app to run (crash). The uninstall doesn't work (fail) and any attempt to reinstall causes an instant fail. Anyone have the same problems?
