Slightly different approach - what is the most interesting car that (say) a couple of grand down and then £500 a month would get you into?
-
• #25629
define interesting
e.g > http://www.contractcars.com/car-leasing/porsche/cayenne-lease/
there's several intermediary sites, watch out for miles per annum restrictions and also adding extras, these quickly tot up the monthly cost
this site is a good aggregator > http://www.contracthireandleasing.com/

electric would work well in the capital, and no congestion charge
tbh 500 per month inc vat doesn't really touch 'interesting' territory

Given that it'll do less than 5,000 miles a year and the main utility of the vehicle will be as a platform for the cat to jump onto from the balcony, £500 is my limit.

If you have a [very large] deposit, you can have a model S for under £500/month direct from Tesla.
-
• #25635

-
• #25636
I don't have a large deposit, I've got what I can sell a highly modified Volvo estate for.
-
• #25637

-
• #25638

-
• #25639

Wut?
A Golf GTi on a 3+35 can be had for under £350 a month inc VAT.
M135i for < £450?
Or you could just about squeeze a Cayman for £500.

-
• #25646
Guessing anything recent with the V8
-
• #25647
The original Quattroporte's were utter dogs of cars.
-
• #25648
Maserati or a Ferrari V8 then. 360s are pretty cheap these days.

Should be doable for 500 ish on Pcp with a decent rate. I got 3.6% from Lloyds Car finance for my 5 series.
My DS cost me a fortune... (In bills)
Clutch plate broke, door fell off etc etc
