Bainbridge can even play the gypsy violin himself that is obligatory at their first date.
-
• #829
Sadly not.
Just as excitingly I recently played Ratatouille live at the RAH. Wow. -

He doesn't fancy me. My w/kg isn't high enough.
-

And seeing as I actually make First Dates, I can probably guarantee us a spot.

You know about gypsy violins, then.
This is simply an intrastellar match.

Longish intervals on turbo (i.e. 30 mins or so) - how do you hold off the boredom?
Netflix/Amazon prime and bingewatching. Homeland, Breaking Bad, Narcos etc etc
Bike set up and decent cent meal night before.half OJ and water while on the bike and eat on the way to work. Lots of carbs during the afternoon and the evening session is better.

@jim1985 definitely a conversational/story one. It stops the boredom of longer sessions and TR takes care of the motivation. Listened to the cycling podcast last night, then went into Serial which I think I will stick with. A lot of people were really into it so could even make me look forward to the turbo!

• #842
Amazing! I had the utter privilege of recording there once with my band. It's a beautiful acoustic. And so handy for RP laps.

It is a beautiful space and gorgeous sound.
You know it's under threat at the moment? Fucking outrageous.

Chamber music is not your forte so I wish you good riddance neighbours with this.
David Hare is very good with words!
The letters include one from David Hare, who said: “Only in this country would any council contemplate bringing music-making to a halt in the interests of private profit and needless aggrandisement.
“Like many film-makers I have worked often at AIR Studios. The idea of closing it so that someone next door can make themselves an unnecessary basement for their house is horrifying. Please stop the reckless and irresponsible development.”

Has anyone tried varying their cadence whilst interval training?
I've been breaking up the monotony of my intervals by working my way up down the block, a minute or two in each gear so my cadence might start at say 115rpm then over a 6 minute interval might end up at 70rpm for the same power.
Just wondered if there's any benefits/implications?
Going from slow rpm's to high at FTP really hurts.
-
• #847
Yes.
-
• #848
Also yes.
Just wondered if there's any benefits/implications?
The ability to produce power at a range of different cadence is the benefit.
-
• #849
That's good then.
Alleviating the boredom is a good thing.

Nathan Haas gym routines for cyclists. Lots of velocity and reps.
Then I am a huge fan of your work. It's a fantastic score.
I'm still gutted I missed it being played live at the Albert Hall earlier this year. Did you play that gig?
