  • Discovered after drinking one last night that Buxton have started putting lactose in Yellow Belly. Got an itchy rash now. Arse.

  • Itchy arse rashes are the wor(s)t..

  • Brewers' Market Spitalfields today

  • It's rammo here

  • Wouldn't recommend going to this, mainly generic bland beers on and is too rammed to enjoy.

  • I like the look of that porter.

  • And the other one.

  • They look like beer and I like that.

  • Tried some BBNO and some other funky stuff at BD yesterday then watched Spectre. #csb

  • 10.0%

    This is quite nice.

    Ooh, really liking this.

    My eyes...I'M BLIND!

  • Buxton have confirmed they are having a New Years Eve party in their tap house, I just so happen to be staying a 5 minute walk away on the night (which also happens to be my birthday). Someone's going to be pissed on Double Axe!

  • North of Euston Road for the New Year? umadbro?

  • Always go away for New Year. Last year went to Berlin, this year Buxton.

We went to the Lake District one year and did lots of hiking/drinking beer so plan to do that again this year. Plus there is a hike called The Axe Edge walk so would be rude not to do it with a few in our bags.

  • Had a Pint of Brooklyn Insulated Dark Larger last night, reminded me of Coral Stout from Madeira. Not terrible by any means but quite forgettable, wouldn't buy another.

  • But...

    The North.

But Yellow Belly, Double Axe and Living End. Plus Thornbridge up the road.

  • Plus Thornbridge up the road

    Down the hill actually :p

  • Actually thinking about another Ghent trip, with the missus this time.

  • We've got Ghent booked in for Herelbeke and Gent-Wevelgem.

  • Don't want to taint the trip with bikes :)

  • I've put my foot down that we are hiring bikes there and not taking our own so I can carry more beer home.

  • If we do go, I'll be consuming most on-site and on sight.
