Nice one sir! Always look forward to these.

I did a post daily for a while but nearly burned up. Graham Greene wrote 300 words a day. I did 1000 a day on the blog before writing 2000 a day on a doomed novel.
These days I try to write other stuff midweek (mainly fail) and do about 2000 words in a big blast on Friday morning, after revving up all day Thursday with ideas. I just don't have enough stories for a daily hit!!

Here's my thoughts on a recent incident. I know it's not Friday but it couldn't wait.

I thought it was Friday for a second there!! Noooo.. at least I have my stories to read a day early though, swings and roundabouts.

I'd not heard about all this til your post but I do hope he's not to beaten down by the mob vitriol.

This reminds me of a friend of mine. Top writer bloke, total cad and a bounder. Sort of person who could buckle some swash and put up shelves like nobody's business. We'll call him Jennifer. Made the mistake of writing some well balanced, thoughful, soft-hearted nonsense. If I wanted that I'd read the Grauniad. I hope both George and Jennifer aren't on some kind of slippery slope.

Excellent piece of writing for reminding me of the dichotomy of man. Would read again. Top notch.
