What's the width of those tyres like? There wasn't enough clearance at the chainstay to be safe on my Supersix with 25 mm Pro 4. Had to switch to a 23 mm tyre.

Yes, probably only about 1 mm on my bike. I was a bit worried about the wheel going out of true but the guy at Condor, who did some work on the bike, was more worried about flicking up a stone at speed and getting it jammed in the tiny gap. Can't say I notice any difference with 23 mm Schwalbe Ones, the 25 mm thing is probably just hype and I think road bikes look better with narrower tyres anyway.

Don't have anything to measure them, but there is a little bit of room left both front and back. Just using Open Pave CG 25mm on the stock Mavic Aksium S wheels. Not sure if there'd be much space at all left if I mounted them on a wide rim.

On yours is the gap smaller on the non-drive side?

i had to re-dish my wheel for 11sp which makes a bit more room in that case

Yep, that's the side you need to check.

It's not front and back you need to worry about, it's the gap between the side of the tyre and the chainstay.

If you got a small Cannondale, the clearance is noticably less than the regular sized one.

20 mm tyres then? Mine's a 54 so I can get 23 mm on :-)

The smaller have even less clearance, max 23mm on the rear.

Probably why Cannondale released the new SuperSix with 28mm tyres clearance.

CXP14 is wide? used to have that wheelset, they're in true Mavic fashion narrow.

Rode CXP30's on my Concorde Pista and I had a few scares as it felt my rear tyre would come off the rim riding hard. That was 19mm as well.
