  • I haz large poc MIPS the other half has a medium but they are the MTB ones if you wish to try.

  • Ur, not really. The evade is the ugliest helmet ever made. It will be one of those designs that everyone looks back at and wonders how the bike industry managed to convince people to part with actual money for it.
Even the prevail is better looking.

  • Evade looks good in Quickstep colours, and if you're Tony Martin.

  • I had a Mojito before which was very nice, but after trying the large Evade it's a little more roomy and just fits me better. Haven't tried Protone as Kask weren't making them in large for ages, although it looks a bit like a beetle's arse.

You call the Evade "the ugliest helmet ever made", but I find it amusing you got the Protone from someone who has possibly the worst taste in footwear I have ever seen. So yep. It's only someone's opinion.

  • Evade is really comfy. Comfy-est helmet I've used.

  • Worst taste in footwear?
    Bont Vaypors, fizik r1 and s-works ?

Sure the vaypors aren't the nicest, but they are the best fit for racing I've found - and tough enough to take crashes.

  • The "sneakers" (trainers). Anyway. It's all subjective.

  • You follow me on Instagram?

    Opinions...arseholes..

  • Nope, I just understand that many people have only become interested in cycling in the past 5 years or so, after transitioning from things like skiing and football, so taste will inevitably be questionable. No bother to me.

  • Good for you pal.

  • Newsflash.

We all look like twats in our mushroom hats.

    The POC ones are clever.

  • And we clever dicks like clever twats.

  • So I found a nice Mojito for cheaps, but when I tried it on it easily slips off my head when you push the front. My current Kask does this also (a dieci, I think). Anyone else find this? Makes me think it's not gonna help much in a crash 😖

  • The chin strap should stop that surely? Should only be able to get 1 or 2 fingers between your neck and strap.

  • Chin strap is tight. Maybe I need to re-shape my head?

  • Do the clicky wheel at the back up. I find the fit of Kask's really snug, so it does sound a bit odd.
Maybe you need a smaller one?

  • Try different brands @FixedCheese. The chances are your head will be similar to at least one brands model. It's like buying wetsuits. Sort-of.

Spcialized fit me better than all the others (which is a shame - I think Giro look the best).

  • Clicky wheel done. Size medium.

    I like Kasks... :(

  • I only wear a helmet when it's mandatory partly because l have that problem with most of the ones I try unless I tighten them to the point of discomfort. I tried a specialized that stayed in place ok, but the ear clearance on the straps wasn't adjustable and that rendered it useless in a different way! Bloody helmets.

  • You're probably all wearing them like kids with snapbacks ;)
You're only supposed to have a finger or two gap between helmet and eyebrows. Wearing it further back at a jaunty angle will cause that problem...

  • Hmm, I've been wearing my helmet like the image below. Am I doing it wrong?

  • what's a good looking, cheap helmet?

  • Giro Savant.

  • Great helmet. Yay from me.

    Superb air circulation.
