Stock FSA gossamer chainset upgrades? Would love a hologram si but I can't find any in 175 and don't want to spend all that much for a sisl.
Rotor BB + any Shimano chainset.

Forgive my ignorance guys, but if I wanted to fit a Rotor crankset, such as 3D+ or 3D30 can I just replace the cranks leaving the existing BB alone, like I would if I was swapping a hollowtech II or GXP crankset like for like or do you need some kind of adaptor?

Opinions on this, spec and price-wise (£1500)? The chainset seems to be £350 on its own. Any idea what length cranks would come with a 58cm frame?
Would swap wheels for Zondas and saddle, seatpost, stem and bars for Antares 00, FSA K-Force, 3T Arx, and FSA Energy or K-Force compact. Seems easier than buying a 105 version and changing everything.

Yes yes. Can't find a better wheel set for the price, and they seem to have excellent feedback from heavy riders. It is decided.

Perfect, thanks. 175 would be what I need. I'd keep the cranks as that would be part of the reason for going for that model.

If it's a 30mm axle then it should just go straight in. There should be a collet and spacers to take up the slack on the axle - it's longer than a true BB30 axle.

Definitely wrong. I had the same dilemma and forked out the extra for RS81s.
Also, can you live with all that green?
Why not just stick with the 105? I have a lighter bike with Campag Chorus on it, but I hardly notice the difference in weight to the Supersix Evo 105 now I have a decent set of wheels on it. I was pretty surprised how good the 11-speed 5800 groupset is.

It's usually heal rub. What I would do is try to get peice of tape the same shape as the arm itself, placed lenghtways along the outside face of the arm.

I had been thinking of wrapping the arm - was assuming the edge if exposed on the outside of the crank is likely to get caught and peel off.

I'm warming to the green. More fun than black. The cheapest SS 105 bikes I can find are either full 5700, or semi-5800 with cheap crankset and wheels that I'd sell, and might not be able to get that much for. Seems to make more sense just going Ultegra with the Si crankset, and minimising the things to swap out.

I like the green. On some dales it looks cheap but on that six with that spec it looks class.
But then, surely not long to go 'til you can get the 12 ultrega disk for an extra £500
