I'm eyeing one up too, which did you go for?

This one: http://www.evanscycles.com/products/cannondale/super-six-evo-105-2015-road-bike-ec116408
Essentially the standard 105 Evo but with tektro brakes, cheaper chainset and cheaper wheels. Arguably better paint though (I prefer it anyway) and like @ChrisMGS said, you are really buying it for the frameset.

I took my Supersix Evo 105 for its first proper run on the Hertfordshire lanes today. Now it has a set a RS81s the only thing I don't like are the brakes, so I have ordered a pair of Ultegra calipers from Ribble (£60) to see if that helps. The frame is superb and I find it more comfortable to ride than my (sportive geometry) Scott CR1, particularly on the drops.

am glad i got the di2 synapse this year as that green is hideous, though next year's does come with spider rings

Slate looking stupid pricey - if that's representative of the UK pricing I suspect they are deliberately pricing themselves out

yep and the caad 12 disc is more expensive this year too. The high-viz durace model looks awesome though

nice

Did you find any mud guards that fit the Synapse yet? Need to get a set for mine and my raceblades definitely don't fit with 25mm tyres!

It looks similar to the gap on my crankset (SiSLs on CAAD10) , which has been put together in the same way by two independent mechanics.

Taken to commuting on my 2013? (Liquigas colours) CAAD10 lately. So much fun. That is all.

Glad someones enjoying theirs, I'm shamefully not feeling mine :(

Take it somewhere it shouldn't go. Oh and get a bike fit to realise why they are the best frames comercially available.
(the bike fit will change your perception of them massively- completely iron out any unnecessary vibrations etc) -

If they are SISLs, not SISL2s, it should look very different, as the wave washer is on the drive side :)

If I buy one it'd be when I am in the United States of Freedom

Stock FSA gossamer chainset upgrades? Would love a hologram si but I can't find any in 175 and don't want to spend all that much for a sisl.
-
• #2498
go with one of the groupset options like sram force/red 22
-
• #2499
Would the sram give me any compatibility issues with 105?

No but it's weird.
Praxis crank looks hawt
Lightening / s-works tick all the boxes except aesthetic
Rotor 3d+ another obvs choice
So after all that I test rode one of those Evans special Supersix Evos today and have put down an impulse deposit on one, need to sort out the cycle scheme payment and then it will be mine.
Excited and felt good on the test ride but think I probably would have felt the same about a CAAD.
Seems a bargain though and as @ChrisMGS has mentioned it's ripe for a component upgrade, probably a bit more gradual in my case than his
