• #1230
but you missed Ride?
They were on at the same time as Run The Jewels - made a decision if two bands clashed, I'd go and see the newer one, as I'm turning into an old man who only sees reformed bands.
Anyway, Faith No More were awesome last week at the Roundhouse and, more importantly, I've just got out of seeing Kylie at Hyde Park tonight. Fleetwood Mac tomorrow. Not quite nailed this 'seeing newer bands' business yet.

I was backstage assembling Kylie's mirrorballs for the sunday during Blurs set. It sounded fucking amazing stood directly behind the curtain. Whole of backstage was a proper party but imagine it'd have been even better in the crowd.
I did get an ice cream afterwards which was nice!In other news King Prawn, August 1st, Harlow. Fuck yeah!

Blur, blurgh. But I was never into any of that Britpop thing so perhaps I just don't get it. Knew a surprising amount of songs though.
FFS at Troxy were much better. I got into Franz when I first visited Europe and the FFS pop shite is a guilty pleasure.
Missed AC/DC I'll never fucking see them live :(

Stop! Press! Shocker! People have different tastes in music! OMFG
I did, they were ace. Completely made up about playing with the Replacements too, sweet.
It was one of those pretty legendary nights, everything spot on.
So glad I saw them as good as this before the end...
