Saw Tune Yards at Festival Hall last night. Was probably better than the Electric Brixton gig last year which was the best I'd been to in 2014
Such a great voice.

She is awesome. I saw her with Dirty Projectors in Berlin years ago, the random capitals in the name pissed me off so I was ready to hate it.
Then she came on stage and just started yelling, and then looped her yelling into amazing songs, and then blew everyone away.
I saw her in Manchester a few years back too, I don't think there was anyone in the venue who wasn't singing and stamping along, it was awesome.
Then I saw her with Grizzly Bear and it was a bit crap but I blame the venue. She's ace.

Tickets booked for The Offspring at Brixton in August, should be good. Praying for not too much of the new shit stuff..

I would have loved to have gone to this. I have seen them once before but it was a while ago now.

Saw Enablers on Saturday. Lots of stuff from the new record. Pete Simonelli. All good.
Also saw The Telescopes last night who were insanely loud and chaotic. The guy behind the sound desk didn't know what the fuck was going on. To be fair neither did most of the audience. All good. -

Saw GY!BE at the Shepherds Bush Empire on Monday. Even excellenter than last time - a really clear precise noise, possibly helped by having seats upstairs. The ride home from W12 to SE23 was very quiet.

Please can American Nightmare be good tonight. Please, please, please.

I agree they were amazing last night, thought the sound in The Roundhouse was great too.

Yes, sound was pretty good, surprisingly.
Enjoyed Tommy giving it the full Sid Vicious. Perfect setlist as far as I was concerned, so good I think I'll go again! -
• #1221
my only slight gripe is that they ended w/ another girl another planet, rather than one of their own songs.

Saw Replacements at the weekend at Primavera in Barcelona, excellent. Also Fucked Up - they seemed to enjoy themselves. Are they any good?
Also excellent were Sleater Kinney, Sleaford Mods, Earth, Underworld, Run The Jewels, Patti Smith. gf insists Strokes were great, but I was off watching Babes in Toyland instead.

but you missed Ride? I'm off to see them, Patti Smith, Hookworms and Toy among others this Sun at Field Day.

Hope you caught my old buddies, You Am I, beforehand... Weird one for me, really gutted I wasn't around for the shows but super happy they got dragged in at the last minute for the support slot... Looks like the reunion's over too, guess they won't be coming to Oz now...
*weeps sea of tears*
Due to a mix up with dates I have 2 tickets for DJ Yoda's new outfit Breakfast of Champions at the forum on Sat March 14
Ideally I'd like back what they cost which is £39.32 for the pair. Any interest?
