I recently bought the FF X & FF X-2 HD remaster for ps4. It's every bit as good as I remember.

Jesus. After my enjoying witcher last night I managed 6 hrs tonight progressing through some side quests and main plot.... Xboxone glitch kicked in and it's not saved anything. All that progress lost.

^ oof, I've only played a handful of hours as I was away all weekend. will be saving very regularly in that case.

Yeah its when you leave the game suspended to do something else like Netflix or another app. Then when you go back to witcher it will not save. The work around until a patch comes out is to fully quit the game and not leave it suspended.

Just finished Witcher 2... I ended up with a neck tattoo in the first chapter (drunk night with the blue stripes!). Imported my game into W3 and I still have the tattoo :)
W2 was fun, but a lot of cutscenes! Hope W3 is more of a blend between 1 and 2.

Thinking of selling my Xbox. Has about 6-8 fps type games. Gta 4 and 5, red dead, erm, a few COD... I have no idea how much these things sell for. Anyone care to help? Think it's a 60gb hdd and maybe 2 controllers...

Anyone got Mortal Kombat X yet? I'm tempted for some childhood nostalgia...

I have it on PS4. I suck at it. Very pretty though

Get this instead!
http://store.steampowered.com/app/205350/X had quite a turbulent launch, with quite a few features missing. No idea if it's all sorted now though.

Asked on the PC thread but no responses.
Need to buy a PC that can play games but also handle photoshop like a champ. These two links have been posted in the past, but not sure if anyone has other thoughts.

Generally as long as you've got lots of RAM you'll be fine for photoshop.
I don't know much about graphics card at the moment but as for CPU you can't go wrong with intel I5.
-
• #12993
That i5 and 970 are a perfect combo for games.
Photoshop will use all the RAM you can throw at it, but 8GB should be ok. If you can keep some space free on the SSD for the scratch disk that should help.
By default your various My Documents/Pictures/Music/Downloads folders will be on the C: drive (the SSD) which is complete waste cos it'll will fill up with crap very quickly. It's very easy to move them over to the HDD, just right-click on each of them, go to properties, location tab, and click move...

Disable or move pagefile too, it's worse the more ram you have and will eat your ssd whole.

Thanks, guys - any other thoughts about hardware? I'm guessing I could buy this bits myself for cheaper.

Retro! That's kind of why I wanted the new one as I used to love the version I had on my SNES back in the day. Anyhow, bought it at the weekend and had a quick go, as per usual, some stuff makes sense and is easy but I cannot for the life of me work out the timing for some of the combos :-(
Oh well, had a good old dust-up with @ChainBreaker, lolling at the epic and frankly ridiculous stunts you can pull off, even when you're not even aware of what your doing.
Edit - Also, when i installed it needed a 4.6GB update so guess this is the post release patch as I've not noticed any issues so far.

I thought PC's were meant to be cheap?! You could get a 5k iMac for that... (Yeah, with a crap GPU).

450w psu is piddly and will die, them calculations never take into account that you will likely add 2+ fans, plug in a half a dozen usb things to charge and add another hdd or 2. Have a corsair 650w non modular in my pc and it's been going strong for a few years. Also avoid cheap psus and all the corsair "builder" series.
Also buy a bitfenix case, they are lesser known but a good brand and come coated in some funky stuff that makes them last well. Even the cheaper ones in the range have lower case psu and other funky stuff.

What kind of games are we talking?
Started witcher 3 last night. Shades of red dead redemption with a sword. Sucked 4 hrs of my life force and I'm planning on an extended session tonight. Finally something to keep me busy till batman.
