  • Once, ONCE, I had a driver get the meme reference, he laughed and apologised, and we went our separate ways. Totally worth it.

  • cavalcade of cunts - fantastic alliteration, made me laugh!

  • Those near death experiences do one's wordplay skills a world of good.

  • I was genuinely too puzzled to come up with a response. The combination of preachy, entitled and wrong was just baffling.

  • Your lack of response confirmed the kerb-nerd's mistaken belief that He Was Right.

  • even after the moment I can't think of the perfect retort

sorry mate I'm just not cut out for red light debates

  • Hahah yeah sometimes it's just 'pppppphhhhhhhh yeah whatever mate'.

  • so he had an issue with you filtering on the right which meant less room for those filtering on the left, through all those blind spots.

    Does not compute.

Wish someone tried that with me

  • preachy, entitled and wrong

    Sounds like the perfect response

  • 'You're wrong because your correct position makes my incorrect position even more stupid'.

    Right.

  • Just checked out where my polling station, not where I thought it was, seems to be in the middle of some estate all bit it in Dulwich.

  • Two massive coaches trying to turn around at the bottom of wellington st, then a guy texting while riding goes into the back of another bike slowing for a pedestrian crossing and nearly goes over the handle bars. Lozzles!

  • Go for the forum favourite.

    Have you considered cycle training?

Regardless of the answer just keep suggesting they get training and the good old, if you'd had proper cycle training you wouldn't be commenting on my road position. Chuck in the fact it is often free and wait for them to get bored of the conversation or the lights change (at which point they will blast off at full speed to try and prove that they do not need cycle training).

  • This morning some big unit (rugby/swimmer type) seemed to have smashed into the back of of an Audi possibly trying to turn left of NKR into Rodney Place leaving a massive dent in the boot and destroyed the rear window.

He was calmly exchanging details with the driver outside the pub on the corner. WTF

  • Also a good one. For extra points speak in a soft Germanic accent.

  • Amazing that Car's, Buses and Black cab all have the same issue that there left indicators don't work. Nearly taken out by all three at some stage on my ride home last night, was told by the cabbie who had twice pulled across into the bus lane when the traffic got bad, that may be I shouldn't be going so fast, hardly call 15mph fast.

  • A new one this morning, chap undertaking a crane lorry turning right onto Worship Street off Moorgate. Thank god the driver was paying attention otherwise the muppet would have been jam by now.

  • Amazing that Car's, Buses and Black cab all have the same issue that there left indicators don't work.

Probably pollsters, the left indicators didn't work for them either...

  • That is pretty good.

  • boom!!!

  • this morning, croxted road, white astra being driven by bloke with an open bottle of Guinness between his knees and a phone in his hand. as you do.

  • I felt like a drink this morning too, can't blame him.

  • Bloke on the train was swigging from a can of stella this morning. To be fair he looked liked he'd had a hard night.

  • Was it Tom Brake?
