Looks like Lib Dems are looking to stop workers striking http://www.londonlibdems.org.uk/no_more_tube_strikes

They are trying to look like as an active part of a coalition.

More nasty racist UKIP fuckwittery ending in suspension

and good riddance! that's the last of them, surely?
-
• #331
They first get breeded like fighting dogs then when they bark at the wrong direction, in the landlord territories, they got eliminated. Sort of pretty unfair.
-
• #332
Is it good riddance? How does it work if a candidate is suspended by their party this close to polling day?
Are they still on the ballot paper as an independent, or does the party put up another name? -
• #333
Wow, that's a pretty full ticket at bigotry bingo.
-
• #334
They will stay on the ballot papers alongside the party name. If elected, they would be an independent MP in the house, the same as any other MP who is not a member of a party (either through standing as an independent, or having the party whip withdrawn) AFAIK

Just been to a hustings in my constituency, all candidates seemed nervous as it is an rather marginal seat.
-
• #336
Fuck it, i'm voting green. The Lib Dems just keep getting worse. Labour looks okay on paper but I didn't like them when they were in power. Also, the local Green candidate is pretty good and approachable, the Lib Dem one has not so much history and I dislike the others.
-
• #337
ukip aren't a racist party, it's just that all their candidates are
-
• #338
Some interesting insights in that.

• #340
Was going to vote Labour but will vote green now.
-
• #341
i want to throw my hat in the ring with the greens, i really do. that car crash performance NB gave on the radio and their continued lip service to loads of anti-scientific woo sealed the deal and the last time i registered a protest vote we ended up with this current shower of cockdribblers.
holding my nose and voting labour.
-
• #342
The leaders of all major parties have given car crash interviews. Why do you feel Natalie Bennett's deserves to be singled out?
-
• #343
did you hear it? it was abysmal. beyond amateurish.
ed m, whilst his party is far from perfect, has stepped up to the fucking plate like a champ in spite of the unrelenting stream of misinformation and bullshit he's had to face from his myriad detractors in the right wing press.
i want shot of these entitled, blue blood fucks and piss-yellow class traitors, and i'll vote for whoever is most likely to make that a reality. it aint the greens.

I find this utterly petrifying - http://www.newstatesman.com/politics/2015/05/owen-jones-if-tories-get-more-seats-labour-get-ready-very-british-coup

Bumped into an old friend who I've not seen for best part of 15 years..............turns out he's the Penge UKIP candidate. Bit of a surprise that, but the old hometown is a ripe UKIP area I suppose. (Gravesend)

Yes it was bad but then again the Green Party doesn't accept corporate donations and can't spend tons of cash on speech coaches and policy advisors. The occasional fluffed interview is almost an inevitability without that kind of support. OTOH, Miliband has all of that and has still turned in some shaky performances.
Labour aren't going to take a majority against the Coalition and this election stopped being about that a long time ago. Everyone knows that it's going to be a new coalition by the end of tomorrow and this election is about that coalition is going to look. I think a stronger Green representation will be a good thing in parliament. Even more so now that the Libs are waving the kingmaker shitty stick.
However, the only reason to vote for any party is that you believe in their policies, manifesto, commitment to delivering on them and the inegrity of their politicians. Tactical voting in this election is more of a mug's game than ever before.

• #348
i would happily support a lab coalition government, just not one formed with the help of the lib fucking dems.
fully intend to vote green in 2020. hopefully by then they could have sprung for some media training.

I'm sat at my desk surrounded by dirty tories. I feel like a jew at a Nazi party rally.

He can fuck off back there then. Fucking immigrants, coming into our constituencies, stealing our votes...
Thankfully, or not depending on your views, the right wing nut job vote in Lewisham West and Penge will be split between UKIP and Liberty GB (who make the former look almost sane).
That's the Conservative starting to do chaos trough the media to confuse the electorate.
They forgot to say that legitimacy is with whoever gets the votes in the common.
