Insanity reigns supreme. Fair play!

Amazing...

Apologies to Steve but the trike photo reminded me of Little Britain's Lou and Andy. Imagining him jumping out of the trike when no ones looking and on to a time trial bike!

Steve yoou leg-end...

Fun interview with the man himself on this week's Bike Show podcast.

Amazing commitment from the man.
Just a thought though - is stopping Seavogel from starting a concurrent record attempt?
And then Steve starting another concurrent attempt?
Ad infitintum
Just funding (and sheer determination) I guess.

I've updated the spreadsheet at http://goo.gl/RBHtiS - moved things about and added Miles to it as well.
I can't see anything from him about a plan, so that page isn't there for him, and I'm aware that some of the conditional formatting isn't quite right yet.

Hmmm, it seems that Miles isn't yet uploading things to Strava...
Ah, the website says that stats will be available from the second week
edit 07:29
Miles rides are now showing on Strava, and are updated - The man seems to have ridden without sleep for 36 hours, to push 548 miles in the first 2 days.

Bloody Aussies, rocking up and ruining it for all of us. Its like cricket/rugby/swimming/tennis/24h time trailing all over again.

I can't draw fancy graphs, but by my calculations if he can sustain that distance for the year he will win.

The trike - is it fixed gear? I'm sure this would help. Much easier to ride one legged fixed than it is with gears.
Just ask Dexter Benjamin -

Im surprised Steve hasn't nailed a cleat on that plaster cast yet
-
• #724
I have a fixed gear trike. Nothing about it is easy.

Looks like we might be getting Steve back shortly...
Blimey.
