I have 2 of these in my shed.
Don't ask why.Message me if your interested
I have literally no use for them so will let em go cheap. They're both blue -
• #1378
what are they like to ride on?
-
• #1379
bit odd but are really comfortable
-
• #1380
Does anyone have any of the SMP range knocking about that I could try? Adjusting my position and hip alignment has made my previously favoured SLRs dead uncomfortable.

which fizik is for me if I like old Selle Italia flite? Antares, Arione , Tundra?
Possibility to get them for cheapz -
• #1382
Volta probably, giving it's old school shape, I reckon you should try the Arione first to see how you get on with them (providing you can also return them at a later date).

Just got hold of a superflow...the ultimate cut out...came down a bit on wiggle so I bit the bullet. Quite unbelievably comfy. No bib short, no problem - commuting without a pad day after day and i've never been able to do that. Comfy in any position...in awe.

No pressure on soft tissues mean no weird tingling after a day ride.
10/10 would sit.

My fave saddle by far and the one that ended what I expected to be a life long saddle swapping experiment. Been on them for a couple of years or so and can't remember what it was like to have a numb chap or tingling. Expensive, but worth it. Even if you do get comments about having a bog seat fitted to your bike.

Thought I'd offer, my lbs have discounted their stock of Kurve saddles, if anyone wants one I could get you one for £90 +p&p

Oh well.
It seems my arse and saddles just don't go well together.
I have been faffing around with my saddle position to reduce the pressure on soft tissues and I can't seem to find a proper position.
I have ridden a Fizik Arione VS for the last half year. it seems to fit the width (I have the sitbone width of a little child.. 9cm c-c), but due to its straight shape and in spite of the channel in the middle I am getting pressure.I normally set up the angle straight (with a spirit level) and find myself sliding forward on the saddle or with the tiniest bit of nose-up and find myself sitting on my soft spots.
I have dropped the saddle height, which was some relief, and the saddle setback is set correctly (according to the knee-plumbers line-pedal axle method).
Any suggestions? any narrow saddle, that doesn't require a 100% aero position, doesn't put pressure where it doesn't belong and doesn't cost much? -
• #1391
Got this saddle as well after I did a pressure mapping.
For whom thinks that SLRs are narrow, they come in 3 different widths, and this is 145mm, perfect for huge ass lads like me :) -

Futher to my posts in the SMP thread.
Got an Adamo Attack.
Very initial tests show it's solved the problem of blood flow issues. Also seems comfy. -
• #1394
Are you going to try it on the road bike too?
-
• #1395
Is it normal to feel a lack of blood flow at low intensity, but have normal flow at high intensity?
-
• #1396
Yeah it's on that. As I sometimes ride hoods but often tribars.
-
• #1397
Nice one - I'll keep my eye on eBay and try one out then.

• #1398
Lower your saddle.
-
• #1399
Already did. Now my quadriceps cries, but my crotch still hasn't gotten better.

obviously, bikefit, but you should consider saddle back and down more.
yeah will just take riding to sort out the burn.
i was a massive hansen but have had to compromise what feels most natural to sort out the saddle issues.
and i found a saddle that works ok for me.
Forgot to mention, I'm Bristol based.
