Can you help to identify these frames, bikes or parts?

so what are these? obviously early campagnolo ergo levers, 8 speed, low end as they are plasticy but i've never seen any with shift paddles like this

Yes Stratos, 1994 only.

Bottom of the range with the thumb button and shift lever being one component, but using the same G-spring and spring mount ring as the other groups.

If you were thinking of buying them, I wouldn't: 8v spring mount rings can't be had new in the UK (EAI in the US might have them) and as for the Stratos specific parts...

They came with a bundle of parts I brought, just never seen them before

Can someone please help me identify this freewheel? It was sold to me as being a Maillard, but there is no inscription apart from "Made in France" on the rear. It is five gear 14/19 and weighs 338 grm. The cogs have little ramps and ridges for smoother gear change. On the front the inscription reads M 34,7 x100 indicating French thread, but it fits my Italian hub perfectly.

Those little wingy-tabs on the end of the teeth are rather maillardy so I'm guessing you're correctly informed... The only other option worth considering is something like Sachs New Success or Rival. They were probably re-badged or un-badged Maillard FWs

Thank you for your prompt reply. This helps. I was thinking that it might be a Maillard compact, although from the pictures that I have seen (Velobase etc) these were usually branded.

If it's 5speed it won't be maillard compact - the compact was a closely spaced 6speed freewheel that was designed to run on 120mm OLN 5speed wheels without having to respace the hubs.

can somone help identify this FAGGIN frame. Faggin told its from ~80's any idea of tubing? (st, dt, seat and chain stays are oval). Any info (tubing, model). thnx alot

Freewheels

I'm a little suprised that it hasn't been noticed that the top sprocket here is actually a 15, not a 14 as stated. Looking at the unused thread projecting beyond that 15, I'd say this is (or rather was) a 13 up seven block, and the 13 and 14 sprockets are missing.

I'm sure Rik VL is right about the 'wingy' edges of the teeth suggesting Maillard. I think it's worth mentioning that the reduced thickness of the back edge of the teeth make these rather fragile - I have had to scrap one of these blocks because a single tooth was chipped and this caused the chain to jump on that sprocket. In olden days there would have been spares available, but not any more.

Now that screw on blocks are becoming scarce (and potentially expensive) it's worth remembering that a freewheel of this type might have seemed to be in near new condition when you bought it, but may turn out to be useless.

Please could someone let me know what make frame this is, I know I've seen one before (distinctive adjusters) but can't recall what it is.

Those look like Paul dropouts. Maybe it's a Broakland STclassic?

You're right it's a 7-speed freewheel with 2 sprockets missing and would originally have looked a bit like this

My newly aquired Giacomelli frame came with an interesting feature, a little peni5 attached to the fork crown...

Hmm good one, that would make sense as a functionality. No way that the straddle could be caught by the profile and cause an endo.

Bit of long shot, but does anyone have any ideas on this? No apparent BB marking other than what I'm presuming results from rotafixing when the paint's still wet, ends are I think stamped Shimano SPP. I've taken some shitty phone pictures of hopefully identifiable areas. Unsure as to whether the whole thing is chromed underneath the paint, the pink is seemingly a rattle can job, the original underneath is a pretty unpleasant orange. Any thoughts would be really appreciated!

Edit- infantile daubings are by my own fair hand, sadly not a clue to the frame's origin, merely to a temporarily suspended business venture!

Can someone tell me to which brand this logo/symbol relates?
It's on the BB of my "Giovanni"trackbike. It's quite a generic frame and rebranded by a shop in the Netherlands. I'm trying to figure out who produced it for them since they can't tell me.

SR Royal Track Cranks... are they engraved or stamped? What are the worth? Seem to be £90 or £40 dependent on the answer to the first question?

They are RYS5 cranks, AFAIK they only made one version of that crank set and thats it.
If they are true pista then they are rare, bitd we ground the inside flange off the LA5 road cranks :)

Hi,
I bought this frame a faw days ago. I'm unsure of the builder, the previous owner only told me that it was a small builder from the Netherlands. And that the builder didn't succeed in pro racing, so he started to build bikes. So that's a bit of a mystery right there.
I think the lugs are very specific but I don't have any idea what it could be. No marks, no numbers, no chainstay bridge too. Anyone? Maybe someone has some knowledge about Dutch builders. I will be grateful.

Anyone who nows more than just the fact it's a Colnago? Thought C94 but this one has chromed stays so I'm not sure any more.
