Stylish cycling kit

Rapha also sell some posh padded boxer shorts which can be worn under something else.

These are not very good. I've probably only worn mine twice.

What I was asking was if there are any stylish cycling shorts with out the bib section ( with out bib suspenders if you will…).

Im sure having those straps serves a good amount of purpose and practicality but I'm not full racing kit yet in my riding.

It doesn't quite reflect the neon-hipster vibe in this thread, but I don't think there's anything wrong with plain black shorts.

Wiggle have several dhb "no-suspender" shorts, I have some of these and they seem like reasonable enough value. I've worn them over the top of compression shorts or tri shorts in IM races for a little extra padding and easy to slip off in T2.

Cycling has them already. I am now suggesting this is stylish kit, but it fits in well with this thread of satorial fail.

I ride in these.
I'm 5ft6, 72Kg, wear a 30" or 32" waist trouser. I ride a size small, in the summer I found them a bit loose around the leg gripper above the knee until the blood gets flowing. Fit fine with some winter bulk though.

It's good in a glitchy, mizuno, fiat uno gti, 1992 kinda way, ehem.
