  • The planet X merino one is cheap, long, thin and flexible, much the way I like it.

  • It's a buff but can do ears without doing face, although you can breath through it alright if it's really cold for a bit.

  • 2.718281828/3.141592653 (approx.)

It took me an embarrasingly long time to remember why the first number looked so familiar.

    I miss maths.

  • If you excuse decimal approximations:-

    2.718281828^(3.141592653i)+1=0

    Or, more formally:-

    e^iπ + 1 = 0

  • Today is the first time my glove and overshoes are out of their elements glorious sunrise in Richmond Park make up for corpse feet and white hands.

  • most beautiful thing in maths.

  • Rachel Riley?

  • Today's commute was punctuated by a nice little slide on my hip down an icy hill. Great fun.

  • nice pic Ed,

err, yeh - almost joined you on the slide Sumo, although mine was on a flat corner - with momentary forgetfulness of the frost, :-/

  • Yep.

I keep trying to summon up the courage to get Euler tattooed on me.

  • Today is the first time my glove and overshoes...

    Michael Jackson lives!

  • Chilly commute again today. I was hoping that now I've ordered a winter cap that things would warm up, but clearly it wasn't to be.

7.5/10 though - no traffic whatsoever.

  • Empty Embankment on the way home, closed roads rule

  • Empty roads, not too wet, not too cold, 10/10

  • Back home for the Christmas period, first ride on new road bike to girlfriends. Plastic cage and pedal and trainers, fighting a headwind the whole way. I think I could have walked faster.

Can't wait to get some spd's/road pedals on it.

  • Have you got spds already? I got a new pair for Christmas, so you could have my old ones for a couple of quid if you fancy - they're really well used, but perfectly functional - let me know.

  • Cheers mate but got a spare pair at home!

  • ^Leeds is windy as shit today! Nearly got blown in to the canal on my way to work earlier.

  • That would have been a wet start. I cycled back this morning. Still windy, not tailwind, got wet. Northern pansy

  • No phone, no alarm, too late, WFH. Dreamt of stolen bikes 2/10

  • Tailwind..

    9/10

  • Lovely sunny day without much traffic, but every single traffic light being red meant I had to clomp into a meeting just after it started in my muddy spds... 6/10

  • Was riding on a cycling path when a car turned off the street, she had to go over the cycling path but didn't even look towards me. I had right of way. Twat just continued to drive. Had to do an emergency stop in the rain. Would have been hit by her if I didn't.

  • Perfectly exemplifying why cycle lanes are more dangerous than riding with the traffic.

Got up with just enough time to cycle in, faffed about enough to *have* to get the train.

Perfect except for my own self hatred at failing to ride in.

    8/10
