This is why I love the fact it takes me about 10 mins longer to take the tube than cycle. It means if im late or lazy i have to cycle

Lots of broken glass near the pavement left over from NYE (all the more reason not to ride in the gutter, but you can't avoid it sometimes).

Noticed the same thing over here, but that's why I carry a spare inner/outer tire :)

Yup, that's been the case with pretty much all my commutes for the last 15 years or so... Even if there's just one change it's usually enough to make cycling quicker.
Unfortunately I discovered in December that the train gives me five more minutes of sleep time and haven't cycled to work since! :-(

Haven't ridden in for 2 weeks now. Not sure I want to start up again. Trains were nice and empty.

I should do with how much I got. Made do with just the transfer jacket which is now my go to jacket anywhere I'm not riding.

First ride in after 2 weeks if the bike. Didn't feel good.
Then had some numpty trying to get up my ass every time I was in front of him. Had to test my brakes and then he starts mouthing off that I'm acting like a cunt.

First ride of any sort in over a month. Felt strange not if it was the bike or me. Amazed at how many people just don't anticipate stuff while on the road. Whole load of bods sat behind the bus at the lights, lights turn green bus moves about 2 meters they all then cycling into the back of the bus. Strange.

Lots of New Year's Resolutions wheezing away out there.
Hope they stick at it.
Hope they get training.

On train and tube cut my way through not too many fellow commuters with a heavy suitcase and a bike box like Cavendish in a sprint finish.

2015 Detox™ Nodathon in full effect this morning. Nice and dry though. Altura have had a good Xmas.

Ran across some of that this morning.
First commute since the 19th, rammed. Have been riding loads over christmas so made short work of the shoals, ahhhhhh.

It's like spruce Armageddon out there.
Warm, dry, low traffic levels and a makeshift forest on the pavements. Not bad 7/10

Derby commute. 1st of 2015.
Was better than I remember.
Left later than I'd like though so had cars for company.
More bikes than I've ever seen before (6). -

Legs are sore after yesterday and having Christmas off the bike, and the bike doesn't seem to be running well at all. Still, enjoyed it. Looking forward to trying out a lunchtime ride for the first time today too
They usually aren't in this country.

She just turned right and didn't look (or care) about upcoming cyclists or scooters.
