hippy has too many race options and no plan for next year yet, especially since he's concerned about getting over this dvt shite first.
PBP, TransCon, TransAm, Silver State 508, RAAM, CTT races like the National 12 and 24 again, World 24 again, there's just too much to choose from and I'm too soon after racing and getting damaged to pick anything. -

I think you should go to the opposite end of the scale and do track sprinting next year.

In that test the back-pack is the fastest, I wonder what a behind-the-saddle type pack would perform like, more similar to the rucksack or the on-the-rack?
I was wondering whether you could, if the rider was in the drops, use a well formed saddle-bag to extend the shape of the rider, maybe with a sort of Kamm tail formed using the bag?

Rider comfort is a huge part of this, would that hard-shell rucksack be more comfy than putting the luggage on the bike?

cant watch the video, is it the same one where they show a rear mounted bottle on the seatpost that show to be more aerodynamic than on the frame?
-

Probelm with that test is the riding position is as sit up and beg as possible.
If imagine a back back when riding aero position is actually pretty terrible.
Also back pack is super uncomfy tonride with, for extended periods. Imagine doing that in 40degrees.

Old steel vs. much aero.

Love Heine's responses to the jokey comments on there:
You guys missed an opportunity to test the drag of Fur on legs vs. Shaved Legs
We tested only variables that had the potential to be significant.
How?
