Yes, and the correct answer to his question was given by @miro_o

U.S.E posts were only supplied in 25.0mm for a while and you used a shin to make them fit your frame. I searched ebay earlier though and there's plenty posts available down to 25.0mm.

I just wondered if anyone had experience of issues from using such shimmed posts.

I'm after an Ergopost or Ellipse in 25.0 and was hoping you had a treasure-trove of NOS goodies that you didn't need and wanted to sell me cheaply. As you were.

Me Julie has (had, now) a very nice, fairly old pair of Campagnolo Proton wheels, a taxi driver drove into the back of her tonight and wrote off the wheel - what's a modern day equivalent for the purposes of insurance?

If possible we'd prefer to replace them with the same thing - nothing on eBay, where else to look for old Campag stuff?
