Thanks guys, cool ride. Shame I had to leave early, 'doing the Tron' was the highlight for me!

Managed to sign up, yay.
Many thanks to John for organising the ride. Even though I cycle around a lot in West London there were a few hidden spots and places of interest that I didn't know about until now.
Having been my first time riding without my gears and freewheel I have to say I am already hooked and keep looking around for a frame to build a fixie (likelyhood is I will actually wait until the snow season is over but expect a million questions after that).
So despite the loose crank I had fun and it was great meeting you all, expect to see me on future rides.
Martin - ish

Hi Martin, welcome to the forum, it was great to meet you and I was chuffed you got back to base with that crank.
(Matt, who rode back with you and your friend, along with Kattiep and Hats)

^ Katy mix up!! It was KT Bee.
^^ Glad you made it home safe, after all the "wow a forum ride with no mechanicals" bragging, it was quite a mechanical to have...

my head is still there, thanks. After the accident i've started to speak fluent mongolian.
Тийм, би монгол хэл жаахан мэднэ.
Монголоор lfgss г яаж хэлэх вэ?

^^^^ Welcome! Lovely riding with you too - you kept your calm about riding with basically one crank much more than I would.
^^^ Very flattered to be mixed up with KattieP. Gives Katie-Coo a break as well. Probably need more Katy/ie/e differentiation.

^i'm glad you split up with that Russel Brand eejit, i never thought you were well suited
-
• #260
Yeah, me too. Gives me more time to focus on my dubstep career. On a mission and that.

• #261
I didn't really like you when you used to be on The Word, quite frankly.

The stupid thing (apart from the spam) is that I know precisely who kattiep is. Think my typing just had a but of a brain fart.
Hello kt bee. Sorry x

• #263
No problem! We don't exactly make it easy for the non-Katies!
-
• #265
Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. Names do escape my mind all too easily but it seems I won't have trouble with the girls; I can just call you all Katie /y /e with at least 50% hit ratio.

This stresses the need to have a London Lights ride before Christmas.
I think the first 'Those London Lights' ride (by @pajamas) was my first forum ride. It was excellent and quite magical.

I'd be interested.
In a Latvian accent!
