splendid.
lemme know when team kits are available for pre order.
for what it's worth i love pandas so if you could go in that general direction i'd love it.castles & pandas. i'd say endless possibilities..

The team kit is black shorts, white socks and any team jersey pre-dating the Festina Affair. It's almost a secret society - a sort of anti-club club, a cult even - so there is no official team jersey. And for suggesting that we might like to go with pandas, your membership is hereby revoked. Because that's another thing: Carlos-Weltschmerz abhors novelty jerseys and all those who wear them. We find those Foska ones particularly irksome.
And I really don't get where you're getting this castle thing from...

International RCC concierge service.
Is that concierge, as in 'concierge' or just concierge ?
-
• #18084
if it's 'concierge', do you think it's 'concierge' or "concierge"?
-
• #18085
It must be «concierge». Accept no substitutes.

I cant help but be drawn in by Rapha winter kit. I'm not too fussed by their summer stuff, but i think the quality stands out more on the winter bits.
Am toying with the pro team winter hat - I've got one of the country hats, but it's a bit too bulky and hot. However, £45 for a wooly cap is PRICEY.
Was also considering the merino liner gloves til I saw they're £40! That's ridiculous. Anyone got any tips for where to get decent, non-Rapha merino glove liners?
-
• #18087
Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?
Have never read that before.
-
• #18088
Didn't think so. Just thought I'd mention it in case people hadn't noticed.

Silk liners are your friend. eBay for cheap.
-
• #18090
Good point. I remember us discussing silk liners a while ago. I actually have some but they developed holes within about a month
-
• #18091
decathlon also if you want to go to an actual shop.
-

I've come to the conclusion that the transfer jacket is tres bon. That is all.

You can buy merino liners from most hiking / camping shops for around £20. Icebreaker ones are good.
-
• #18094
Seems a touch expensive though.

• #18095
A bit...pricey?
I bought the focus CX one for cheaps.

Merino liners are your friend
ftfy m8
because merino keeps your hand warm better than silk when wet.
got H/H's from last year's -50% offer. slendid.
-
• #18097
Fair enough, I guess I have warm hands as I've never struggled with silk and I've always found it hard wearing too.
How do merino liners hold up in terms of longevity?
-
• #18098
i don't have cold hands either. just if one was wondering which is better if one does..
how they hold up depens on the quality(obv) which if think is quite good in my liners. so buy a cheap chinaman product you might need to buy new ones soon.
they fit me well and are inside the glove so very little friction that would cause the gloves to rip. if the stiching holds up i'll be using these for a long time to come..
-
• #18099
I have had both some silk liners and some cheap merino ones, both of which have developed holes.
I may have a look at these HH merino ones you praise. Think they're around £25.... need a 50% sale to come back asap!

On or off the bike? - Heard the're a tad warm for the former.
Say what? You mean I'm going to have to pay directly for Rapha exclusivity in the future?
Harrumph.
