I think the whole Rapha thing has gone so far that the line between fact and joke has blurred to the point that the only thing I can see there that I wouldn't swallow as being straight from a press release is the word pleb.

That's less than £1 a day - I'm guessing yes. Not every office has it's own coffee machine.

People pay three times that for gym memberships they never use.
-
• #18061
Three times - that would be a cheap gym. Fitness first/VA can be £60-80 p/month

What a load of shit.
-
• #18063
I would pay money NOT to have to ride with the kind of people who will subscribe to that.

If you like you can join my cycling club - Carlos-Weltschmerz. You can ride with me if I see fit to invite you too, which is unlikely: my club encourages its members to ride alone. My club offers it associates very little, in fact, but it asks for nothing in return, other than your support for Team Caja Rural, that you own a jersey dating back to before the Festina Affair, and a fondness for coffee and pubs.
I am considering making the possession of at least one album by The Fall a condition, although that could see the club's number drop off considerably.

No ta, I'm already a member of 2. Do not need any more cycling in my life.
-
• #18073
But that's the thing, you wouldn't need to do any more cycling; when you cycled alone you'd merely have to think to yourself, 'I am now cycling under the auspices of Carlos-Weltschmerz.' It's kind of like a theoretical cycling club, you know?
Or maybe you just don't like The Fall.
