you got 30c tyres on the smaller PDWs?
-
• #1329
No, I managed a native 30mm tyres on the CAAD10 with 6700 brakes (used to run 29mm Grand Bois tyres), the PDW work well with 25mm on the same bike.

I would take those PDWs pending pics (obviously after anyone else in front of me in the queue).

Have you though about a custom steel frame with mudguard, Di2 and hydraulic?
-
• #1335
Just installed those and applied the same tricks. Seem pretty solid this way.
I see you reversed the blades and used the holes for the end caps? I just took a Philips screwdriver and made two tiny holes. Did you screw the blades to the plastic things to hold them in place once you fitted them correctly? I did once I noticed the blades kept moving around in the holders due to vibrations. Makes the fit quite permanent though.

Why's it called a glovebox when no-one wears driving gloves any more?
The glove compartment is inaccurately named
And everybody knows it.

I put my gloves on the bonnet, till I drove off, then put them in the boot.

So why are they still organising the Glovebox Weekender?
I think we should be told.

That was going to be my suggestion. I didn't realise the tfg had gone.

Discs are not there yet IMO. I'll wait another 2 generations or until UCI allows them.
Both Ribble and Verenti dont have Di2 compatibility (?)
I think 2014 onwards CAAD10 is good choice if I can get hold of frame only in 52/50cm.

Disc is already here with the R785/685.
TRP Hylex outperform everything, even your DA brakes.

I just used the tip of a knife to cut a small hole in them. I've never found mine to move, in fact they're really very difficult to slide in the holders.

A set of the VO hammered noir guards arrived on my desk this morning.
Sheet of A4 gasket rubber has just appeared in the intray too to make some superlong mudflaps

Best mudguards to mount on a tarck bike with no drillings from brakes or 'guards?
Basically anything I should consider instead of race blades, preferably something that will protect the drivetrain.

Buy a new bike?

Buy a drill and some PDW full metal fenders or Chromoplastics.
@amey buy a Ribble winter bike. It'll be plenty bike for you.
