I'd be expecting Wiggo to be leading the club run for that price. Exclusivity is all well and good and I love my Rapha stuff but it's not for me.
It's not the money per se, it's more that I don't want to ride with people who think riding should be about exclusivity.

If you work round the corner from one of the CC's and you drink at least one coffee shop coffee a day then £16 a month makes sense.

But if you're buying into the Rapha lifestyle that much, then you're probably already an Imperial Works member and get complimentary coffee as part of that.

Regularly buying coffee from CCL is very different to buying enough shiz from them to get an IW card. In my experience anyhoo.

That's actually more than I expected, but pretty useless for me due to location. Though it seems like one of those cases where it looks at first glance like you're getting loads, but 99% of people won't make use of 90% of the 'benefits'.

The road bikes to borrow when traveling abroad sounds really good actually. I wonder how many days you can get one for (going to San Francisco at the beginning of December).

Sounds more like store card benefits than a cycling club but I suppose that shouldn't be a surprise - it's a commercial venture.

Are they going to host a road race and a season of weekly times trials... or is that still left up to the BC clubs that charge £2 a month?

I suspect the reality would be more like "road bikes made available for hire at 3x the going rate for the equivalent bike from any local bike hire shop, but these will be all black with pink highlights".
