Can you use the 30% for womens stuff on bundles?
-
• #18029
Dece idea; create one of those internet clubs (5th, deux north etc.) constantly instatumblr but no merchandise or club membership to speak of ..
-

I'd be expecting Wiggo to be leading the club run for that price. Exclusivity is all well and good and I love my Rapha stuff but it's not for me.
It's not the money per se, it's more that I don't want to ride with people who think riding should be about exclusivity.enter code here

If you work round the corner from one of the CC's and you drink at least one coffee shop coffee a day then £16 a month makes sense.
-

But if you're buying into the Rapha lifestyle that much, then you're probably already an Imperial Works member and get complimentary coffee as part of that.
-
• #18033
Hang on, I buy a coffee per day, where's my exclusivity?
-
• #18034
Do people really spend £200 a year on shop bought coffee?
-
• #18035
Let's start all LFGSS. CC rides at Waitrose. Free coffee there.
Look what you've done, you've forced me to calculate what I spend on coffee per year. Based on 2 double espressos a day, I apparently spend £936.00 per annum plus my Pact subscription.
When's Rapha opening in Canary Wharf then? -

I would thinks so? 1 coffee every three days @ £2 ?
-
• #18037
£393 for the average UK coffee drinker according to:

Hipster approved shop coffee is bordering on £3 a pop in WC1. It would be pretty easy to rack up the £200/yr

Regularly buying coffee from CCL is very different to buying enough shiz from them to get an IW card. In my experience anyhoo.
I'm just bitter about not having an IW card.
-
• #18040
Will the old IW cards continue to get holders free coffee?
-
• #18041
Bitter? Sounds like you're over-extracting your grounds.

So, does anyone know what you do get? I'm assuming a daily coffee, a maybe discount on kit and access to club only limited runs of stuff?

Women's bundles, yes

That's actually more than I expected, but pretty useless for me due to location. Though it seems like one of those cases where it looks at first glance like you're getting loads, but 99% of people won't make use of 90% of the 'benefits'.

The road bikes to borrow when traveling abroad sounds really good actually. I wonder how many days you can get one for (going to San Francisco at the beginning of December).
-
• #18048
I may have added one or two.
-

Sounds more like store card benefits than a cycling club but I suppose that shouldn't be a surprise - it's a commercial venture.
Are they going to host a road race and a season of weekly times trials... or is that still left up to the BC clubs that charge £2 a month?

I suspect the reality would be more like "road bikes made available for hire at 3x the going rate for the equivalent bike from any local bike hire shop, but these will be all black with pink highlights".
Typo. Exclusivenessity
