@pootsmanuva great minds must think alike (and probably puncture together) my second puncture in two days (third in two weeks) now looking at the new Schwalbe Durano Plus at 25mm too:

Only place I see them selling them atm is bike-discount:

"dynamic profile" wtf does that mean? It's got different tread pattern?

Dunno, just some PR BS tbh. But just brought a pair and hopefully they'll see me through the winter without much trouble.

Fucking hell, nearly 400g for the Durano Plus.
Was expecting around 300g for the 25mm, hopefully the 100g mean it should last as long as a Marathon Plus.

They are sharkzilla proof though.
Total overkill unless you're regularly finding drawing pins, nails, industrial staples etc in your tyres.

I run Durano Plus 28s.
I eat rolling resistance for breakfast.

I wish they'd stop telling me it was for cars only..

Continental Four Seasons. One puncture this year.

are you sponsored by Cuntinental? that tyres are shit, in my experience - 10 punctures in 2 months.

Still convinced Duranos pluses are the most puncture proof road tyres.

Looking for 700 x 32 Vredstein Perfect Girando as I have a perfectly usable front but the back a bit worn. Can't find them anywhere these days so does anyone know somewhere were they are still in stock.

Sound like it's perfect for a sportive then.

Right! Mavic Yksion PowerLink is officially completely shit! So easily cut up and punctured (especially in the wet) Yes it is a very light tyre, but it doesn't outweigh the fact that the overall usage of this tyre is crap! Avoid at all cost! My Durano Plus can't come anytime soon! In the meantime I'll do some DIY repairs and add another inner tube on the underside of the tyre to provide some extra protection till then.

Got a pair of Vredestein Fortezza Senso Xtreme for my new winter trainer. Nearly half price so couldn't resist. They seem to be fairly well reviewed - anyone got any experience?

Just got a pair of 28mm so will see how they compare with 23/25mm maxxis refuses which have been my tyre of choice for a few years.

Just received some special edition "London" marathon plus in 28c. Mostly because they were cheap. Usually ride 23c so curious to see how much differencr it makes to the comfort.
Theyre heavy beasts, but I figure I can probably ditch part of my toolkit. If they puncture sounds like I'd struggle to fix them on the road anyway.

Is it the Bianchi? if so, 28mm should definitely fit on the rear as long the chain is not too short.
