Was giving your question about off-roading vs road cycling and effort.

If you were to output the same power for an hour of road or MTB I strongly expect the off-road session would take more out of you. Upper body would be doing much more, your whole physique has to absorb the vibrations and bumps plus there is the mental energy used in picking a line etc.

I don't mind the A30 if that's the fastest (I'm coming from teddington), but if there's a field I can cut through on the way that gives me a break from the 40mph dual carriage way, without slowing me down too much... I'm especially thinking towards the end, that would be nice?

Is it any good? Always thought about going but not sure if it's worth the train journey from Reading.

I think you need longer brake hoses.

Its pretty good for what it is you have to do a few laps to make it worth while but its good fun plus i strap the dirt jumper to the car and hit the jumps afterwards. Id say its worth coming down and giving it ago.

does anyone know where i can buy new, some hope pro 2 hubs ... not the EVO's just the original hope pros ?

Other than the obvious "have you phoned hope?" , which I'm sure you've already done, I really don't know where you'd get hold of nos hubs.

Is there a specific reason you don't want the evos?
