Perhaps you should get a better job.
It appears to be what dooks is suggesting. -

I expect that the strike welcomes your support, whilst you continue to patronise the venue. Maybe hand them notes with a link to this thread on it so they can see your staunch support?

Or just take Greenhell there on a date.

Oh behave. I said supported their *right *to strike. If I felt strongly enough about their plight to make the statement that I supported the strike then I would have joined the boycott and not gone.
But I weighed it up and decided that on balance I didn't feel that their complaint was worth my not playing three songs in the upstairs bar for no money last night. If it's alright with you I'd like to be able to disagree without resorting to snarky sarcasm. Cheers.

You preformed?
No, that was Prefab Sprout, back in the 80s. I'm sure dooks is made of good, honest British brickwork.

Moments away from the open bar that is international flights. Like a wedding you don't have to mingle at.

Fake hosers?

That's what I figured... Wankers...
Hmmm. Guess I was coming to it from the point of view that the mainly white, middle class, educated and staff working there out of choice (you don't end up working the Ritzy by queuing up at the job centre) are in a very different position to the majority of the rest of working class in Brixton. It's not like they're cleaning the loos in KFC for minimum wage. They're striking over the differnece between £8 and £8:50 an hour. I am sympathertic and of course support their right to strike. But boycott? Dunno.
