  • The ants are flying!

  • What time does this start leaving London fields?

  • I plan on just following the crowd and trying to find some forum folk at London Fields. Will be wearing lfgss cap

Same here. Looks like my friend isn't coming so will just be me. Will be on a black Genesis Day One so say hi. Would be nice to roll out with someone to chat to.

  • What time does this start leaving London fields?

from 8 onwards. no start time, no rules.

  • Does anybody know if we'll have to do that thing that happened last year where we all got off and walked our bikes in a big queue round some obstruction halfway?

They were just fixing the road I think. It's a bit slower in Norf Essicks but a year is probably long enough.

  • Anyone want our coach tickets? Were £20 each...

    All gone...

  • Nah. Local councils know about the DD and stick in patches of cyclocross to liven things up for the spectators.

  • I'm after a ticket if you still got?

  • Tickets gone...

  • Have fun everyone! Hope it's drier than today's stage.

  • Hello,
Not sure how it is organised at the finish in Dunwich, do I need to bring a lock with me?

    I'm not

  • Cleaned my gears, it seems some muck isn't meant to come off

  • bike checked, lights charged, epic nap had, food packed, really looking forward to another DD.

    #skiniswaterproof

  • Severe jetlag and a hangover so sadly bailing on this evening's proceedings. Have a good 'un everyone, looks like you're gonna luck out on the weather after all!

  • Have a good one y'all and take care!

  • Any forumengers here yet?

  • You lot get wet?

  • Misty and refreshing, no rain, arse dry and bathing in minty creme

  • well done

    nice no rain.

  • The first 2 bikes got here at 3:20.
Now there is a steady trickle of riders pulling up.

  • Chapeau riders!
Jet lag for the rest of the weekend though for you :0)

  • Despite very wet roads, not a drop of rain until the beach. hit a rolling average of 14th which will do nicely. . TTime for breakfast and a kip.

  • Bailed on return trip spfg DD was faster than I would have gone solo, arrived 4.30 ish dunno details as my strava stopped at 60 miles but it was 15.5 mph ave then

  • Oh and it was dry until 40 mins after we arrive then the heavens opened

  • Top ride, never again. Nice running into a couple of forum riders at the rest stop, Howrad and someone whose forum name I forget, apologies - feel a bit confused right now.
