Does anybody know if we'll have to do that thing that happened last year where we all got off and walked our bikes in a big queue round some obstruction halfway?
They were just fixing the road I think. It's a bit slower in Norf Essicks but a year is probably long enough.

Nah. Local councils know about the DD and stick in patches of cyclocross to liven things up for the spectators.

Despite very wet roads, not a drop of rain until the beach. hit a rolling average of 14th which will do nicely. . TTime for breakfast and a kip.

Bailed on return trip spfg DD was faster than I would have gone solo, arrived 4.30 ish dunno details as my strava stopped at 60 miles but it was 15.5 mph ave then

Top ride, never again. Nice running into a couple of forum riders at the rest stop, Howrad and someone whose forum name I forget, apologies - feel a bit confused right now.
