Yay, I've got new glasses!
I got sick of buying cheap off-the-peg pairs and having them last a few months before breaking, and never fitting on my large head comfortably so I've got some nice Ray Bans.

I've just bought some Cutlers.
Couldn't refuse really - they were a bargain at £100.
Thirty sheets for lenses and bob's yer uncle.

I ditched the stock nose pads which were too prominent and replaced them with some old ones. Perfect.

Actually referring to orientation of the pic first time around; sharp specs regardless.

I got some Danish Prodesigns a few months back. At 41, the need for varifocals had crept up on me, so I wanted a slightly deeper lens than usual, and thought I may as well get something decent for once/while I happened to have the cash.
Apparently they're the first biodegradable frames or something - it wasn't a deal breaker for me. The fit is spot on, and it's nice to be able to see my dinner while I'm eating it. Mid-life is full of these novel experiences.

I remember reading about a liquid that you can apply to glasses to help water run off and to stop them fogging up. For the life of me I can't remember where and search is being of no help.
Does anyone know what it is and where you can buy it?
Thanks

Just picked up my MYKITA no.2 Werner frames.. Now I can be the Boss German Archteckt, excellent fit. After a run of cheap vision-express frames I decided to go bold and the hinges are indestructible.
Varifocals next time methinks.
