The tyres themselves are fine. It's getting the tube in without it kinking which really sucks. Am I just doing something wrong? Talc helped a bit.
The master 22 I had a while back were dead easy, so it's probably just a new tyre thing.
I've just always found open tubulars of any kind a nightmare to fit first time round. Once they've got their shape they're alright. Just bought a pair of 23c Masters for my new road bike. Not looking forward to wrestling them on.

Saw some nice things for sale recently my size and jumped in, so here's some atrocious photos of new stuff!
New 'main' road bike and probably daily. Ciocc Challenger with DA/Ultegra mix. Needs a few tweaks but it's not far off being good to go straight out the box. I'd been thinking to switch over to 10 speed Record but TBH it all seems pleasant enough as it is so I think I'll leave it be for now.
Having never had one, this one came up my size I figured I should give it a go. Not too sure what to do with it yet, it's a mix of Mavic and Shimano 600 for now, finished either way it would be quite nice.
And finally:
Likely too small but anyway, will see soon enough.

How big is that bridgestone, I bet i could make it fit...

Bit of an odd one I think, it's 59c-t, but also the top tube is 59c-c. So it's certainly long enough but likely the seat tube could do with an extra cm at least.

nice stuffs as alwaysThanks! I'm probably going to do a little tour within the next few weeks, possibly on the Nago and maybe in your direction. I'm trying to decide on which tour to do - a route around Bourgogne, Vallée de la Loire or Bretagne.

downgrade time. I had countless problems with my 105 crankset combined with use chainring so I have switched to a brand new Sram apex crankset, which came with bottom bracket and chainrings for £50 which ain't bad. It has fixed things and looks much better!

New wheelset, flite seatpost and saddle, monkey bars and Grammo inspired pro chrome stem. Trying to get the weight as low as possible with steel forks.

What problems did you have? I've just fitted some DA cranks with a USE chainring to my track bike.

According to this: http://rotorbike.com/media/files/2012/12/rotor_174521655.pdf
This bb: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/es/en/shimano-tiagra-4500-bottom-bracket-ex-display/rp-prod114915 is compatible with rotor track cranks. Am I right? -

Better Ciocc photo this morning,
Short term needs longer cranks, new brake pads. and that's about it.

needs longer cranks
Don't waste your money, the only way to get crank length wrong is to have them too long. Other than that, crank length makes no difference.
Sorry was referring to dave4 asking if it's Gaston who's going touring.
