Peak 20 minute power is lower than peak 60 minute power.

    Eh?

  • Make all your 20min rides 40min longer so they're quicker.. #seemslegit

  • Must be a calculation glitch. Cant see anything in the data.

Need to log in to mine and edit out all the spikes from the powercal. I have some epic values for lower time period peak Powers. All of which come from a handful of rides.

First ever race on Saturday. Or at least the first group start that I've ridden as a race. Plan to hide away in the relatively fast start Group we've joined, not get dropped on the 3 decent looking Climbs, then find someone that looks knackered to sprint against for glory.

It'll be interesting to see how little power I can use in the pack.

  • Hmm, it doesn't show a table if you are not logged in, this is it:

  • If you swap 20 and 60 it makes more sence.

  • It's totally possible.

  • I guess it might be that as the ride was very on/off the average over 60 minutes was 234, but the max for a 20 minute period was lower.

  • Easily possible, my overall power curve used to go up at points

To simplify it if you did 1min @1000w, 8min @100w, 1min @1000w then your 8min power would be 212.5w and 10 min would be 280w

  • Such want, very can't afford.

  • Fuck that's cheap. Mine is excellent, I'd (on my mileage so far) very much recommend them.

  • Fuuuuuuuuuuuck. This will ravage my finances and I'll have to build a whole new wheel and get new wheel covers.

  • They'll never* get cheaper than this.

*This does not constitute any form of guarantee.

  • Which rims with 24 or 28 purely out of interest?

  • In order to be "on message" with the current forum whim, something from Flo I reckon.

  • Which rims with 24 or 28 purely out of interest?

If you're going to put a Raltech cover on, then whatever is cheapest in a 19mm internal width. There has to be some 29er XC rim on sale that fits the bill at well below the £50+shipping+import charges that a Flo would cost.

  • 28 hole wide rims just became very interesting to me.

  • Much want

  • There must be something more pricey out there?

  • I was close. I resisted.

  • Do it, be perfect for your new bike

He's just spent £275 he doesn't have on a hub, and is in for another £140 for Raltech covers. An expensive rim probably isn't high on his shopping list right now :-)

H+Son Archetype seems to be the forum favourite in 23mm rims available in 28H. If I were building a wheel to hide under Raltechs, I'd go for a Mavic XM819, but they only come in 32H

Me too. Guess the Fixed Winter Trainer's going to have powah after all.
