  • somebody could at least have tried to jizz on Brixton...

  • Just tried to watch one of the episodes. 1 minute was enough. Never watching it again.

Are the new viewers gone yet?

Stage 15 highlights now up on bbc

  • Really? His 'How The Race Was Won' videos offer some of the best cycling analysis around. Quite how a major broadcaster hasn't signed him up yet is beyond me.

    Agree, great stuff

  • but the week in bike is a bit whinge

  • The content is really great but the monologue-to-webcam thing I can't handle.

Either he's too American or I'm too English, or both.

  • TODAY!
    TODAY!
    TODAY!

  • Two of my favourite climbs. But it's looking grim at the top of the Stelvio at the moment;

  • Those BBC highlights are great, but whose idea was it to put the stage winner's name in the title. Ummm, much spoiler?

  • ^ I know, terrible

  • Too bad we wont get to see the first climb i guess

  • It's one of those stages where it's hard to predict what's going to happen. Given the relatively short stage distance, it could be that the GC contenders start attacking each other on the upper slopes of the Gavia and race all the way to the finish. But what's more likely to happen is that they'll sit tight until the final climb of the day.

Both Quintana and Pozzovivo are rumoured to be ill, so it could be that one of the other GC riders tests them early on to see how they respond. That'd make for an interesting stage. Someone like Hesjedal has nothing to lose now, so he could be tempted to go for a long range, what the hell attack.

  • The lorry that cleans the roads was out cleaning alternative routes yesterday just in case

  • I watched stage 15 highlights on youtube with either Spanish or South American commentators. Didn't understand a word but it was some of the greatest commentary I have even heard on a bike, especially when a Coloumbian attacked.

  • Evans to attack from the team bus, 200k solo, riding the Stelvio twice to confuse his opponents before out sprinting late-entry Chris Hoy for overall and glorious victories.

  • I'd want a cape, gloves and a speck ham HTFU sandwich to ride this stage.

  • hope this will make way for some awesome racing & scenery soon

  • E. BOASSON HAGEN did not start.

  • It's snowing on the Gavia. I hope the peloton aren't going to go on strike.

  • Italian TV is interviewing a dog in the studio. Seriously.

  • Sounds like there will be no live shots for an hour or so but we can continue to enjoy seeing Cedric Vasseur in Reservoir Dogs mode.
