what do you give to a man who has everything ?
A giant birthday cake with Khaldoon Al Mubarak in a corset singin happy birthday, Mr President.
editJust heard his agent. He sounds as mad as a box of frogs. No real angle beyond cash monies.

Really do not want him at Liverpool. Chelsea rejects are no way to improve our teamMike, do you even kick ball?
Peel beneath the layers: What got him the bad rep was the subjective line in his book about almost crashing when he heard the salary on offer from Arsenal. He'd been promised more. His reaction wasn't different to anyone with a sense of self worth- let alone someone that would go on to be regarded as the best in their position in the world. From all accounts he's great with fellow squad members. He continued to get a frosty reception from the press due to his understandable distrust of the media.
And just incase you forgot, we played cfc@home recently with much hubris; the best forward line ever that would blast them into oblivion...remember? Even the press said it. Cole was one of the best players on the pitch. The fact that they'd consider letting him go is in line with the fucking stupid shit they do down the kings road but I'd welcome him in an instant.

Yaya is a big fucking blouse... FFS is not getting paid a shedload enough, decency maybe, but his agent is an agitating shitrag in the same mould as Stretford.
He can always come to the red side if it's that bad...
I can't wait for Rooney to come back from the WC and Stretford to get him going for a move, Van Gaal will stick hi in the reserves and then he can fuck off...
Get your head out of the clouds. If that happens you'd be paying him the second highest salary in WORLD football whilst he licks candy floss in Blackpool.

clever, no.
One trick pony playing the same game each year.
City are less clever so he will get the pay rise anyway.
stop fucking quoting him

This. The reason Arsenal fans hate him is 'cos after we'd turned him into the best left back in the world he left for a bigger pay packet. We boo and taunt him for turning his back on his boyhood club in favour of a barrow load of iffy Roubles, that's the pantomime of football. Objectively, he's no longer the best fullback in the world, prob not even the best in England now, but he is good enough for just about any prem side and certainly good enough for Liverpool's piss weak defence.

seems like thrushy is going to have to up his game next season if he wants to continue grabbing back page headlines,
expect shock tactics from him next year to remain at the top of the attention seekers list

Have another look at last season, Mourinho was quiet and understated all season. He even got picked up for stating the obvious, Chelsea had no chance of winning anything without an in form striker. It's the new Jose.

peter v thanks for the van Gaal primer, especially liked this one..
- It’s his language now, not yours Mr. Van Gaal will come up with new additions to the Oxford Dictionary. In Germany, he inadvertently (or was it?) introduced the phrase Der Tod oder die Gladiolen, a Dutch saying meaning literally “death or the gladioli”: all or nothing. This is because if Mr. Van Gaal speaks your language, it is no longer your language, it’s his. It is not Mr. Van Gaal who has trouble speaking English, it is you, for not going along with his obviously much better interpretation of it.

Ru, Lambert eats humble pie and welcomes back the high wage earners who he's been trying to get out of the club for the last two seasons
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/may/20/aston-villa-paul-lambert-darren-bent-u-turn
is this a case of a manager seeing he was wrong, or being told a'la AVB we're paying for them so use 'em?
