Please DO go and vote on Thursday.
Yeah Russel Brand has got funny hair and some interesting ideas, but if you don't vote there will still be a load of arseholes who will turn out, so every normal who shows up is a bonus.
You've just outlined whole reason *not to vote.
The fact your trying to debase someones argument by referencing their haircut shows you are moron. Please vote.. but only you.

Or you missed the point.
It could be either.

this is local elections though, not MPs.

Local elections are important. All that shit winding you up around your gaff while you go about your life - that's affected by local elections. Are your local gaggle ineffective? Let them know. Kick em out.
Plus Euros - don't let Ukip be the voice of the country.

It's mostly lies and they are here to serve the interests of themselves and the small majority of people who think that the rich should get richer, living prices should rise while standards decrease and the poor (well not even the poor, relatively well off) should suffer due to heavy taxation. Btw I'm a student and ive had enough of the rise in tuition fees and privitisation that is going on. But hey that's me... let the lfgss phrianas attack!
You should seriously check out the Greens. They don't take money from business, but are solely funded by donations from individual members.

I voted Green last time. I saw the numbers and I made up 1/50,000th of 1% of the voters or something similar. Anyway, all the others are cocks so I'll probably make a pointless Green vote gesture again.

I loathe all of these cockwarts so much. Almost equally. Almost. Will there ever again be a great political leader in this country?

labour seem to be such a non-runner these days, they're like the lib-dems of old. my biggest dislike of miliband is down to my irrational hatred of the fact he looks like wallace of wallace and gromit, there's practically nothing else of substance to his entire being. he's like a human placeholder.

He's fucking loathsome.

But who will represent me as a white middle class public school educated male...?

Maybe not but after the last four years are people still saying it doesn't matter who you vote for, that they are all the same?

There is more information on the Green manifesto here, which I found particularly good.
[not backed up by links] The average voter is actually pretty far to the left of the traditional parties [/not backed up by links] so hopefully if we let enough people know that there is a party which reflects values close to those held by the majority of people, they might have a chance of making a real change.
