  • back at work for Bob, got to make sure people can get to his memorial do.

  • +1 beyond the grave trolling.

a true master of the art.

  • Can't wait...

  • ^seconded

  • I am already dreading the logjam on the roads from this. And with rain forecast over the next two days, it's going to be a nightmare.

  • Indeed, just going to take it easy whilst filtering through traffic =/ or might just leave extra early for work & stay later at work to avoid the traffic jams...

  • Is there a strike on? When?

  • 2 hrs time

  • Ah.. thanks. Nice excuse to leave early.

  • Yesterday's game with Chelsea renewed my dislike for buses. This strike isn't helping either.

  • I find the difficult thing is overtaking. You get angry motorists just swinging out from the line of traffic in frustration without really looking, zooming down side streets and generally just hating cyclists.
It's fun to wind them up with a smile and a wave though

  • Fuck me, today was a challenge riding through central London during rush hour. I haven't seen so many cunts on bikes and idiot mini cab drivers in just under one hour for a while.

  • The first and last hour of each working day in every office is pretty much fucking pointless when there's a tube strike on. It's not the fucking company's responsibility to get you to and from work so get fucking on with it.

  • when?

  • That was horrible this morning, a runner was making better progress than me at one point.

Every junction was locked and nodders were filling in the gaps between cars and not moving.

  • Got up around 6am. By the time I was heading in there was a bit more traffic than I'd expect but it was pretty much fine. #earlybirdgetstheroad

  • ^ Yup. I left home at 06:00 and it was fine getting in, though there were more cars than normal. Not many more riders than normal it didn't seem. The buses I saw as I rode through the City were crammed and looked awfully unpleasant. The ride home tonight will be mayhem.

  • Left Highgate at 6 and aside frm the crashed ambulance at Essex Road, standard ride in. Bike racks at work were nearly full though.

  • Fine for me, left the house at half seven, dropped the bike off at H2 34 minutes later.

Traffic around Regent street was FUBAR, but I was walking with a coffee in my hand by then.

  • absolutely fine, and good to see loads of people out on bikes. good luck to the strikers.

  • I need to get a bus from central London to Stretham. Seeing as this is reverse commuting, will it be fine? (can't ride today, although did the Bethnal Green to Kingston commute yesterday and it was glorious).
