I love it.

These pics are from the maker:
The 6 velcro straps attach to the rack and the long strap wraps round the vertical supports and pulls tight to hold it in place. Very simple, secure and easy to remove
Not sure I'm allowed to share the price, as it may have been an experimental introductory type price, but PM Jordan and I'm sure you'll still be pleasantly surprised even if he has adjusted it based on the workload etc.

No worries I quite understand, might send a message.
The bag looks amazing, what do you reckon the capacity is?

really getting on with them so far, love the simplicity and I'm already shifting less than I was used to on the Somec (both 9 speed)

It's about 30cm x 18cm x 18cm which puts it at about 10 litres
Front carrier is rated to 9kg.
Again, this was very much based on my needs and the design of the rack; if you want a larger one I'm sure he can do it.

Id get salsa cowbells
How are you finding these, Apollo? I'm starting to think about how I'll build up the Straggler.
Are these the new ''sptr recommended'' forum bars?
:-)

Love 'em.
The cable routing of the Barend shifters makes the shape in the drops surprisingly awesome.

Cheers, are those the 46cm you have there?
-
• #492
think so... I'll remeasure for ya tonight. think they're about 50cm at the flare - could be wrong

I have just stuck these on my Cross Check, replacing the stock Bell Lap bars. They are very, very nice, find them really comfortable.

^ Good to hear. Cheers Andy!

They're very comfortable to ride in the drop for a prolonged period of time, the sweep give me more room between the top of the bar and my wrist.

Great. The bars will be set at casual/touring/mamil height, so being comfortable in the drops is a bonus.
Can you get a reasonably flat transition onto the hoods? I guess the levers will have some effect on this, but I'll probably go with the Tektros.
-
• #498
Mine are also casual/touring/not30yet height. Transition seems pretty flat...

^ Looks pretty good to me.
I'll choose my brakes & shifters in private though.

i've got a set of Woodchippers in 46cm if anyone is intrested in them? £30 posted. i found the Bell Laps to be good, then i tried Midges and they were much better, Woody's don't do it for me so i'm back on Midges. i'd like to try some Cowbells mind....
Typical.
