no it's just that it's the only good choice until you double its price point
I picked up a nexus 4 earlier in the thread, same time got my gf a moto g and there's little to have between them only mine was second hand and cost more. So maybe there's some argument for an on-offer/2nd hand "google" device if you want nfc or qi or whatever...

Nexus 4 my boyfriend had until it was accidentally smashed. He has the moto g but it's too low a memory at 16gb for him.
Your explanation is better than being told to get over it. -

I've never looked/tried but it may support usb otg/host? Perhaps there is some way to jerryhorn storage into a case, they make "storage cases" for iphone etc so clearly it's possible, don't know if produced for motog

Another plan: Move stuff to cloud and increase data plan
3rd plan: Unfortunately, get over it

Ha.
Well the moto g is already going to my dad who is using my ancient htc sensation.
He needs something that can play games, so moving things to cloud storage wouldn't work. -

^^^^ The analysis of the sports tracker market is actually quite interesting though, but I do wonder how the usage patterns he suggests compare usage of sporting related goods in general, say new bike purchases or even gym memberships. I would have thought they also exhibit a pretty heavy decline as well, except in the case dedicated users

Moto G owners...anyone use it with a BT hub at home? I know Dammit said that he was having issues getting it to connect to Wifi but I want to see if this relates to the ISP used?
