yes, it's super-short with the ~54 tt cc vs. 61 st cc ratio, but that's exactly what I would like to try out.
the tightness at the rear is only valid with the wheel in the innermost position, it would be more relaxed in reality, when the chain is a bit longer.do you think the tt might actually be TOO short? I am 6'2", but not the youngest around, i.e. I like it a bit more upright, that's why it's so compact.
If you're having flexibility problems then why not make the top tube slope upwards or not at all and be a bit longer for a more normal geometry and riding position.
Might be of no use but I'm 6'1" and ride with a 57tt and 130mm stem.

Your knees will be practically hitting the handlebars by the looks of it. If you want a short, upright bike, look at dutch bike geo

Jetski- if you have a current bike that you find comfortable, try and base the measurements off of that.
Otherwise- go try out some bike in an Evans (or other chain cycling shop) for size.
Finally, try the fit calculator on Competitive Cyclist:

it's kinda weird to order a custom geo without knowing how it will fits you, but that's your problem.
i'm 6.3 and all my bikes have a minimum of 57.5cm tt.
as i alread written you will probably hit the handlebars with your knees.
it would be easier to go for a normal tt and play with seatpost (straight or llayback) and stem. -

Yeah the toptube lenght doesn't really make sense. I'm 6.4 and my fixeh got a 58cm toptube with a 12cm stem. My mtb has got a 60cm tt. Especially with risers I would go for a longer tt. Maybe you should try some mtb/hybrid bikes because that's kind of the same geometry.

I am 5 11 and my cross bike is 56 with 110mm stem, road bars and hoods.

Strong look.

Strong look.
Ha ha, yes, but that's exactly the fit I'm looking for!
By the way, the geometry isn't purely made up without reference. It actually refers to a bike that I own, with several 'adjustments'.
It's a bit crazy to order a geo that is so far off standards, but I'll give it a try.Nonetheless some of you might be right, I might consider going from 540 to 550 top tube.

What size are your shoes - flat pedals or with a cage?
-
• #4537
~10, no cage (freewheel)

Ok, the old one (V1) has been killed, here comes V1.2, I think this is going to be really perfect:

That fork rake plus HT angle makes only 46mm trail, not counting fork sag what makes it even less...
-
• #4540
I get 50mm with http://yojimg.net/bike/web_tools/trailcalc.php (tyre size 700x35)
which would be twitchy, but ok -

^ i for one want to see that jetski

Hello guys,
It's been 3 months already since I ordered to Robert my frame and I am still waiting for it due to certain misunderstandings with the concept of tapered semi-integrated headtube and the fact that he uses google translator. Sometimes is kind of difficult to understand him with specific terms but finally I think he got the message.
The fact is that I want to use a tapered fork with the dimensions I attach you and I already had a headset that apparently doesn't fit in the tubes that Robert uses.
http://oi60.tinypic.com/2uglyc6.jpg
He has told me today that he could build the frame with a headtube with upper 44mm(1 1/8'') and Lower 49mm (1 1/2'') measures.
I know my question is kind of stupid, but will it work with my fork? I've seen that there are 02938402938423 kind of standards in the measures of tapered headsets and I have found a bunch of them that fit in my budget but I am not used to this concepts and I don't want a frame that doesn't fit in the fork that I already have.
Thank you in advance for your help guys!

hmm i was wrong, nothing.

shouldne you wait on the headset tlii the frame is deleviered? as long as its tapered your fork should be fine.
-
• #4545
yea sure it works. Not sure if chris king has headset like that but hope pick n mix has both of those quite likely.

Yes, normally I wait to get the headset but I got it for free :) So I can't complain about it. It is a pity that it won't work.

I have googled a little bit and apparently there are many models of Chris King headsets available. I will go for one of them
Thank you all!!!

To anyone with a Mielec: I urgently need the **outer **diameter of the headtube of a typical Mielec track frame that is made for 1" threaded headsets!
Thanks in advance!
Maybe try setting a similiar position on one of the bikes you have and try out? Any partical fork in mind? Rake, travel? Tire size?
