To anyone with a Mielec: I urgently need the **outer **diameter of the headtube of a typical Mielec track frame that is made for 1" threaded headsets!
Thanks in advance!
I have a 1" on mine but assembled a bit hard to measure. Bout a half a mm smaller than the sekai headset cups? If that helps

young gun: do you have callipers? or another object with exactly parallel 'jaws' that allows to measure the diameter?

sorry no, dumped all my tools when i moved overseas
though they may have published specs. -

slack chain. Looks good though

frame seems a bit too large, would prefer more visible seatpost over lopro geo...
edit: saddle is dead ugly, nonetheless

skinny fork + 31.8 seatpost seem weird together, but the colour is nice!

Saddle is getting changed, post will come up when I can get enough preasure in the tires to ride it. Pump went out.

MTB geo for alfine hub and 26" 2.0 tires..

Are you keeping the forks or is it temporary?
-
• #4567
Keeping them, had them in mind when doing the geo. The geo might put some people of, but I had kind of do-it-all vision (city communting, easy touring and trails, fixed or geared) so when building it up, I'll just gor for one of this options depending on my other bikes (daily, fixed road, geared road). Think this photo shows it better, also thinking of 29er wheel on front, 26" on back.

do your thing.

Did any of you guys try the standard Mash geo with a 1" steel fork?

yeah here: http://www.lfgss.com/thread119333-2.html
I would not recommend because it looks silly with the 31,6 seattube imo. -
• #4571
With tube dimensions like the Cannondale, it would look pretty rad I guess
-
• #4572
the tube dimensions are based on cannondale. geo is not
-
• #4573
nah the tubes on the mielec are waaaay fatter
-
• #4574
You can still choose the tube dimensions, no?
